PiVOT follows a matrix based approach in our project advisory role, mapping out key inputs and outputs in a framework that permits parallel processing of ideas, plans and implementation strategies. - Financial and cost Evaluation - using current and realistic price and cost benchmarks for developing robust revenue and expenditure models; creating financial models based on capital expenditure plans and phasing to evaluate returns to investment, and fund-raising possibilities
- Implementation plans - project management, monitoring progress, creating correction strategies where needed

- Market Evaluations - Our market evaluations are more complex than mere survey based listings. We look at the entire project influence area (PIA) as an organically connected entity, and determine market potential not just on the availability of cargo, but also based on likely strategies to attract volumes, competing facilities and their impact, connectivity constraints, future economic growth etc.
- Facility Planning - PiVOT believes that no two facilities can be planned identically. Where best-practices and benchmarks determine efficiency in design and plan approach, the PIA's own dynamic with respect to cargo flows, connectivity, labour movements etc. must also be considered in any facility design. We strongly believe that facility planning must therefore be seen as part of a comprehensive project plan, and seek to bring this approach in any such task with which we are entrusted.
- Long term Advisory - PiVOT has a seen a high retention of customers, and many have now graduated from project based engagements to long term retainer ships where PiVOT functions as a strategic advisor to its clients. In most such engagements, we have been made responsible for taking forward project implementations and plan for the growth of our client organisations while they themselves concentrate on the daily "nuts & bolts" of their businesses.
